When you install the JCE editor and your template has a black background then sometimes your text area in JCE admin will also have a black background makeing it near impossible to see your text.

To remove this style do the following.
on line 129 in mambots/editiors/jce.php
Find:
Code:
$template_path = $mainframe->getCfg('live_site') . "/templates/" . $template . "/css";

relace with:
Code:
//$template_path = $mainframe->getCfg('live_site') . "/templates/" . $template . "/css";
