The idea of Joomla is that a non-technical person/company will often need to be able to keep their website up-to-date without having to call their web designer to make changes every to the information which is displayed on the site.
There are however some things that can only be done by your web designer, but for simpler tasks such as changing the wording of a paragraph, or adding a new page to your site then this can be done by yourself at the drop of a hat.
Joomla ‘s intensions are to separate the technical tasks from the non-technical by providing you with the tools to help a non-technical person organise and manage the content of within their website. Joomla can also be expanded to provides additional tools which help to add more functionality to your web by using third party components, such as guestbook’s, forums, events calendars, and much more.
Many people are now using Joomla more and more as their preferred web site content management system. However, you will have to understand how it works, and how you the client or web developer/designer can manage and update the site.
It is no good if a web developer/designer has created a Joomla site for you but you do not know how to manage it. Same goes for web developers and designers.
If you are thinking about using Joomla to create sites for your clients then you are going to have to spend time learning how Joomla works, and how you can get the most out it, and this could take time which you may not have.
To get you started we offer professional Joomla training courses, which will see to get you well on your way to managing or developing your Joomla website.
